How to prepare the beans: After thoroughly washing the beans, soak them in cold water for 10/12 hours. Then replace the water and put them in a saucepan. Cook on low heat for about an hour. In a pressure cooker, it only takes 20 minutes. Add salt at the end of the cooking time. The cooking time is approximate as it may vary according to the variety, the origin of the product and the hardness of the water.
