Extra Virgin Olive Oil BIO & DOP ‘Gentile di Larino’

€18.50

The oil produced from the Gentile di Larino cultivar, Oleificio Mottillo's excellence, is recognised as one of the best in central southern Italy for its natural high presence of biophenols and oleic acid (over 74-75%). This oil is characterized by the scents of artichoke leaf and chicory that make it delicious to connoisseurs, respecting the original quality of the fruit from which it is extracted: the medium green fruitiness with hints of artichoke and the balance between bitter and spicy, is what makes it unique and recognizable as typical of the Frentane countryside.

Gentile di Larino oil goes elegantly with strong-flavoured dishes: it brings out the best in cereal, spelt and legume soups and is excellent on dairy products. It has a fruity, harmonious flavour that also enhances roast meat and fish. We believe, with good reason, that this type of oil also makes the most of the excellent homemade ice cream from all latitudes.

Particular attention is paid to the preservation of the product, which takes place at a controlled temperature and above all in a controlled atmospheric environment, a circumstance guaranteed by the use of food-grade nitrogen.
