Among the many roasters in Italy, there is one in Molise that creates high quality blends, not only thanks to state-of-the-art machines and techniques, but also to an acquired artisanal tradition. The aim of Magda Kotsoura, administrator of "Torrefazione Monforte", is to "spread the culture of quality" and to give every final consumer and lover of good coffee a moment of healthy pleasure. "Torrefazione Monforte" was born in Campobasso in 1999, when Magda Kotsoura, a botanist-herbalist, decided to use her knowledge to create blends based on very high quality coffee beans coming exclusively from certified plantations in Central America, South America, Africa and India. After the rigorous selection phase comes the roasting, blending and packaging of the finished product, all with great attention to detail. This is how a coffee with a unique and incomparable aroma is created. Today, the company is one of the most technologically and environmentally innovative roasting companies in Europe, respecting codes of ethics in favour of plantation producers, ecosystems and biodiversity throughout the world. Since its foundation, Torrefazione Monforte has been collaborating with the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Molise on subjects of scientific interest and environmental sustainability.
