€4.20

Producer: Nicolino Occhionero
Nicolino Occhionero's family-run farm is located 30 km from the Adriatic Sea, between the hills and the plains. From the love for nature and the respect for man and nature, the farm has managed to preserve the ancient traditions handed down from generation to generation, adapting all the ancient knowledge to obtain the best products. The Occhionero farm grows wheat, barley, sunflowers and olives. The farm also sows chickpeas, lentils, borlotti beans and cannellini beans. These legumes, produced in limited quantities, are carefully selected and packed by hand. At the moment all its products are organic but do not carry the label. The reason is that for the preparation of the pulses and the processing of the flour and pasta, he has chosen the most reputable laboratory and mill in the region that is not certified organic. Otherwise, he had to send his production to an organic mill and laboratory outside the region.
