Organic Sulla Honey
Sandra and Dario Trucco's honey di sulla is produced in the Petrella Tifernina area. It is a pale yellow, straw-coloured, almost transparent honey. It crystallises quickly and has a whitish colour tending to beige. It has a very delicate flavour, a sweet taste (with no bitter aftertaste) and a pleasant aroma of wild herbs. Honey is useful in treating flu-like conditions, helps to soothe coughs and has antibacterial functions. In addition, it is a valuable source of energy, useful for athletes, children, pregnant women, convalescent persons and the elderly.
